House Rules and Studio Etiquette

Created in collaboration with the building team and neighbouring tenants to help maintain a professional environment, protect shared equipment, and ensure all sessions run smoothly without disruption.

Studio Room 1

Speaker Use

  • Keep volume levels below 75–85 dB during production. Refer to Db readers for reference.

  • Avoid consistently high levels to prevent ear fatigue and equipment damage. Please be mindful of others in the building.

Drum/Full Band Sessions

  • Do not exceed 90-100 dB on a regular basis. Refer to Db readers for reference.

  • Excessive volume can disturb neighbouring sessions—please be mindful of others in the building.

  • Between 10am and 5pm on weekdays, you may book focus sessions for mixing and live microphone tracking. To minimise disruption, drums and full band sessions are not permitted during this time.

General Studio Etiquette

  • Clean up after your session.

  • Tidy and coil all cables, and return microphones to their proper places.

  • Switch off all equipment when you're finished.

  • Do not make permanent setup changes without prior approval.

  • Keep BOTH studio doors closed during sessions (open doors cause excessive sound bleed and disturb other tenants).

  • No music to be played with doors open.

Guest policy: If you'd like to bring guests, please let us know in advance—either via your booking form or by text—so we can accommodate accordingly.
